Spicy Ancho Gimlet Recipe
Love the heat of a spicy margarita but prefer gin to tequila? No problem! The Spicy Ancho Gimlet is both spicy and refreshing on yet another hot summer day in New England.
To make, add the following ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice:
1 oz Ancho Reyes Verde Poblano Liqueur
1 oz Gin (we opted for Glenpharmer Brookdale Gin for its subtle juniper and citrus notes which complement the Poblano)
1 oz lime juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
Shake hard to chill and dilute, then strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a strip of cucumber. Enjoy!
